Africa Food Systems Innovation Award
The Africa Food Systems Innovation Award recognizes outstanding leaders in the food systems and agricultural industries whose innovations promote sustainable food system transformations and advance food security in Africa.
The Africa Food Systems Innovation Award recognizes the many achievements of high-impact entrepreneurs and leaders with enterprises that highlight their extraordinary accomplishments in food systems innovation and agricultural industries.
Every year, a member of the Chief Entrepreneurship Officer Network will present the Africa Food Systems Innovation Award to the recipient at the Chief Entrepreneurship Annual Awards during the Africa Food Systems Forum.
Specific achievement activities to be considered include:
- A consistent pattern of innovation in food systems and agricultural industries.
- A pattern of support to peers, colleagues, and young people entering the food systems and agriculture profession as a mentor or coach.
- A history of participating in innovative conferences, forums, and summits to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders to join the profession.
- A demonstrated commitment to thought leadership to advance the state of the food systems innovation and agricultural industries.
Selection and Award Process
Nominations are not accepted. Members of the Chief Entrepreneurship Officer Network will select, review, confirm, and announce the winners.
